The price of peace may be her life.
Based on true events, Kidnapped Redemption follows Phyllis Sortor, a missionary whose work with Nigeria's marginalized Fulani people led to her violent kidnapping.

This film uncovers the courageous story as she is taken hostage and held in the Nigerian rural bush for twelve days.
While captured, she is repeatedly threatened and is sold to a local witch doctor.
Terrified and fearing for her life, Phyllis relies on her faith and courage to survive being held for ransom.

Rather than fleeing after her release, Phyllis chooses to return, transforming trauma into triumph.

Kidnapped Redemption chronicles her extraordinary journey from captivity to freedom, and how her unwavering commitment to education and reconciliation is bridging divides between farmers and nomads, Christians and Muslims, creating lasting change in Nigeria.
